Can my dentist kick me out?

Help

I think my dentist and the dental assistants don't like me anymore

Does my dentist still have to treat me in his dental practice?

(or can he throw me out of his dentist's office

or simply stop or refuse treatment

Should I talk to my dentist about this?

that I have the feeling that he and the dental assistants can no longer stand me

or should I rather say nothing

Only in emergencies is a doctor obliged to provide. Otherwise, the patients of course can also refuse if they do not cope with them. They'd say that.

What makes you think they can't suffer you anymore? Sounds more like it's just your perception.

Theoretically yes. But if he won't do anything, he's his job, he gets money for it. I'd talk to him if it burns on your soul. If necessary, change the dentist.

He can quite say / suggest that you should look for a different practice in the future – even a doctor has in the large and entirely free choice of patients – except in absolute emergencies.

Theoretically, he could reject you as a patient if the relationship of trust is no longer given.

In your case, I can't imagine.

Doctors certainly have some patients who are particularly complicated, demanding or human very strenuous. The doctor and the practice team must not like a patient or suffer well, but only treat professionally independent of sympathy.

Surely you could have asked yourself in practice what is in the syringe instead of asking your pediatrician. That's really not bad. Your pediatrician starts with the names of the ingredients anyway more than you and can assess how these are related to the symptoms.

Don't worry about it. You should talk about this next time with your dentist. He must finally know you didn't do something good.

Then you can make sure you don't blame anyone.

"Does my dentist still treat me in his dental practice?"

No. There is a free doctor's choice, but also a doctor has the option to reject a patient (except in an acute emergency).

"That I have the feeling that he and the dental helpers can no longer suffer me."

Oh my God, what did you do?
