Hello, I want to lower my Simson Schwalbe. How low would you make it at the maximum so that it doesn't drag in corners and still maintains a bit of comfort?

Tach Schwalbelover,

I would never deepen my swallow, as it actually only brings disadvantages. The look is always in the eye of the viewer. I think it just doesn’t fit. I wouldn’t put a motorcycle down, would I?

I can tell you that the shock absorbers are usually hard on board (even at the softest level), except you weigh 200 killo, and thus the driving comfort drops extreme and bad roads are to avoid when you still need your discs. I have already put her swallows deeper for acquaintances two times and can therefore also speak out of experience. And roundabouts don’t make fun of a certain height, as you always sit with the knee plate and grind.

If you still want to put them deeper, I would just put them deeper because of the above-mentioned reason.

A Schwalbe lowing and at the same time using it as an everyday vehicle is very difficult because it already has the ideal height.

Better put a Chinaroller down. A swallow is too valuable for it and it would look stupid, is finally an oldtimer. There to make worse does not testify to taste
