Is the chicken still edible?
Good Morning,
Yesterday, I made chicken in a white wine sauce in preparation. It will be frozen once it's ready. I finished cooking at 2 am Since the chicken thighs and the cast-iron pan were still very hot, I had to let it cool down first. But then I fell asleep. I woke up shortly before 9 am and immediately froze the chicken thighs. It was at least 4-5 am before the pan, and therefore the food was cold. That means the chicken sat at room temperature for about 4-5 hours. Do you think it's still edible? I tried a tiny bit to see if anything would happen. A taste, so to speak. I didn't want it to happen to my family.
Thanks for your feedback and have a nice Sunday.
Of course you can eat it. I've often stored enough stuff in the oven until the next day and that's easy 24 hours and it's still edible. Will be completely heated again and not eaten cold
As always, look, smell, taste.
And I wonder that these Soya-food – Questions now appear inflationary.
Just use the common sense. 😉
The chicken is strongly seasoned. Because it's already that you don't notice when it's a slight trick. Thank you. Incidentally, I know that mustard can also cause food poisoning without it being possible to smell, see or taste it. He just loses sharpness. So I'd rather ask more about it 😉 LG
Your fears are unfounded. Why when freeze it tastes freshly prepared at the best?
Thank you. I'm not here next week. The chicken is for those who sometimes live in my apartment to watch my pet. A little thank you for speaking. That's why frozen.
After such a short time,
24 hours are not a problem
