Under 18 in 18+ film?

My friends and I would like to go see the movie "Smile 2," which is coming out soon. The problem is, we're not 18 yet. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can still get into the movie? Please only helpful answers, not something like, "This movie isn't for you." Thanks.

Because of the hype surrounding the first film, where younger people wanted to see it even though it was rated 16+, they're very careful to ensure that no one under 18 is allowed in, because the operators would be heavily found if people who aren't suitable were in the theater. And the employee responsible for admission was dismissed without notice.

Especially at the beginning, the controls are guaranteed to be very strict, and there's no point in even trying to get in. And the fact that you don't look 18 or older makes it even harder to even try. Otherwise, I would have said to wait until it's been running for a while and the controls are less lax. Then all you can really do is wait until it's offered somewhere on the stream.

Then watch it when you turn 18. Adults don't necessarily want to hang out with teenagers at a movie for grown-ups. You'll remember that when you're grown-ups yourself.

These days, it's no longer possible, as controls are very strict and operators face heavy fines. It wasn't a problem back then; in 2000, as a 10-year-old, I watched the movie Gladiator with my dad in the cinema. :))

No, you didn't. Fining the cinema approximately 50,000 euros for your movie enjoyment is no joke.

The fact that you don't give a damn about that shows that you don't belong in an over-18 film.

I worked in a cinema myself for a while, and the operators repeatedly told us to make sure no one went to see a film they were too young for. This could result in severe fines for the cinema, which could seriously threaten its very existence. Fines in the five-figure range are involved.

Every employee who doesn't monitor you risks their job, and very few are that stupid.

So forget it.

How old are you? If you're 17 and look 19, it'll work. If you're 15, it won't.

Just get tickets for any other film that isn't rated 18 and starts at the same time as Smile 2, and then go to the Smile 2 cinema. You just have to check the website beforehand to see which seats aren't reserved, and then sit there.
