Where should you go in Amsterdam?
We're currently near Amsterdam and the surrounding area, and I was wondering if you know of any special places there (beaches, restaurants, etc.) that are worth a visit.
Thanks

in the many ridges, the patrician houses, a boat trip, the windmills and if time remains on the final dam that separates the sea from the mainland.
The beach near Bergen is very nice (about 50 km away). Edam very close to Amsterdam is a very beautiful place. And if you are not far away, the open-air museum of Enkhuizen is worth it.
If you want nice cocktails, the "Tales & Spirits" is a good address. Adults only and relatively small, so you may have to wait a bit. But very tasty.
Important points of interest would be the Anne Frank House, the Rjiksmuseum, Vondelpark, Red Light District, a ridge tour and the Van Gogh Museum.
Going food is relatively expensive in Amsterdam. We've been feeding on food stands, so I can't recommend a restaurant.
A'DAM Lookout (high-rise with viewing platform)
NEMO Science Museum, Van Gogh Museum
To Anne Frank House.
Thank you.
