Recommendations for cheap, tropical countries?

Hey! I probably have eight days of vacation left this year, which I'd like to use up around the end of November if possible. Now I just don't know where. It would be nice if the country itself was as cheap and warm as possible (please DO NOT take the price of flights into account). And what would also be nice: as a 19-year-old, it should be easy to get around the country, so either rental cars are possible for those over 19, good public transport, or cheap taxis. Do you have any recommendations? So far, I've been looking toward Sri Lanka/Mauritius, where at least you can find cheap Airbnbs. Or maybe something like Vietnam.

Kind regards, Lass228

For example, Thailand should fit. But do you really want to make a long trip for just 8 days? Alone for the arrival and departure go there for 3 days and then stay there for 5 days. If you want to “go through the country”, you will not be able to spend the whole holiday in the respective means of transport.

Think again if it really makes sense or if you shouldn’t stay close.

Vietnam is beautiful, while the North of Vietnam has become a little touristy now on the HaGiang Motorloop, but right and the country is very cheap, the route is impressive and you can move along with the scooter. mf.
