An 11-year-old (I don't want to say who, let's call him Thomas) is having a fight with a former friend of his. Let's call the friend Haywani. They've been arguing for several months, and now they want to fight. Kindergarten, after all. Haywani wants to bring his cousins, who are significantly older than Thomas. And one of the cousins said he'll bring a knife.
At first I didn't take the whole thing seriously, but when I heard that a knife was involved, I started to worry. I worry about Thomas; he's my everything. It might not be that bad for him, but I've seen things that he hasn't. A fight where someone has a knife, especially a child , can never end well. I don't know whether I should tell Thomas' parents because he only confided in me. I don't want to betray his trust. But somehow I do want to tell his parents, but I don't know.
