Honda XR 125 indicator problem?
Hello, I have a problem with the turn signals on my Honda XR 125 l. They're not flashing on time, but rather with a delay. I've installed different turn signals, but it was the same with the original ones. The new ones also have bulbs and fit perfectly. They don't flash too quickly or anything, and I've already replaced the turn signal relay. Nothing helps. Maybe someone can help. Thanks in advance! đŸ™‚
You obviously have a fat problem in the flasher switch! 2…3…4 times in a row right, the contacts are clean and the blinker reacts normally. Then the other side, is fat between the contacts, which has to be pushed almost away until the contacts are in contact.
So open flasher switches, then clean it should be good.
If that doesn’t help, you might need to change the indicator. Otherwise I wouldn’t have another idea.
So I’ve already exchanged the flasher relay for a new one, but that didn’t help
Not the flash relay! The switch on the handlebar! Extensions, open up, fat out, make, build up…!!! I told you. BLINKERSCHALTER!!!
How exactly can you imagine that?
you turn on the flasher and five seconds later it flashes?
the blinking itself is quite normal?
So… I’m gonna turn right, that’s all right. When I turn right again and again, it always works. However, if I change the flasher side from right to left then it takes quite long until the flasher starts to flash and if I change from left to right it is exactly the same. It is also funny, however, that it takes longer at cold temperatures until they start flashing and with warmer it goes relatively fast. But the blinkers themselves flash completely normal when they are at first. I hope it was a little understandableđŸ˜…
