ESTA ist eine Reisegenehmigung und kein Visum. Es ist genau das Gegenteil. Du darfst eine Reise in die USA antreten, ohne ein Visum zu beantragen.

Die eigentliche Einreise gewährt dir der Officer am Point of Entry.

For DACH rich the Esta, unless you have been in Iran, Sudan, Yemen or other countries since March 2011. Everything is also asked in the request.
