Why does Audible need my address?

I see the message on Audible:

"It looks like we have an invalid billing address for you. Please take a moment to update your address."

Why does Audible need my address if my purchased audiobooks are added to my account anyway?

It says: For the invoice.

For example, because of the payment method and the VAT rate. This also requires the EU's Digital Services Act.

Not necessarily.

It is completely normal to indicate the billing address if a subscription closes atn. Those who do not want to do this can no longer use such services.

The invoices are paid using the deposited payment method. You pay Audible in advance.
