Activities for young people?

I spend far too much time playing computer games these days, so I wanted to explore what other options I have. I don't participate in any club sports (yet), but I do play an instrument. Aside from homework, my own "training," and the occasional walk with the dog, I'm almost always at my computer. Unfortunately, my town (very small) doesn't have many publicly accessible basketball or soccer courts, which is a bit of a hindrance. Since I've only been living here for a few months and the school is here, I don't have many contacts outside of school yet. What suggestions do you (teenagers between 13 and 18) have for filling your afternoons? What are the requirements?

Thank you for your answers!

Below is a short survey about what you do in your afternoons.

I love social games. It's fun and social.
However, I often lack friends who do this with me, so I sometimes consciously spend my time in the supermarket or in other shops. (Very unproductive)

The other day, I started borrowing books. Nonfiction books are great if you are motivated to learn… Some novels if I want to change series/films and dive into a new world.

In fact, I would try to participate in the school in AGs. If you, as you say, don't have such great contacts, you'd get to know SuS, if you're younger or older. This can also develop friendships, you also have contact people at school during the breaks and eventually you might also take something outside the school.
