Get straight teeth cheaply?
Dear community,
I'm 21 years old and have slightly crooked teeth in some places. Overall, my teeth are fine, but I'd like them to be perfect.
So I did a little research and discovered that there are various treatments available to help you get straight teeth.
On the one hand, there are normal braces, on the other hand, there are transparent aligners and so on and so forth.
I want to spend as little money as possible, at most €2000, and that's why I came across DrSmile.
They offer so-called aligners (transparent dental braces), which are much cheaper than normal braces.
My question is, is a dental splint worth it?
Are they just as good as regular braces?
Would it be recommended?
Do you have any better, cheaper alternatives?
What is the difference between this and regular braces?
What are their advantages and disadvantages?
Hello, Kevin.
the rails of DrSmile are heavily advertised. However, you do not get a treatment there for free.
DrSmile works with rails, like Invisalign earlier, so without attachments. This means that only slight misalignments can be treated and some misalignments can only be treated very hard/slow or not at all. This must be explained before.
Depending on the severity of the misalignments, you also need more rails than in the complaint pattern calculation and you don’t get them for free.
Generally, rail systems are rather more expensive than classic tooth chips in standard design, because for “invisibility” what needs to be done.
The rails have to be worn 22 hours a day. Snack in between, always call coffee doesn’t go, hours of brunch or evening with friends and a fake red wine or two shouldn’t happen often, except you’re using false mineral water. Otherwise you won’t get to the wearing time or the rail will turn. You have to decide whether rails fit your life reality or whether you can limit/require accordingly. The “invisibility” must be bought with limitations in lifestyle.
A pine orthopaedic treatment costs less than one box of cigarettes a day and many are afforded.
Under 2000 € hardly one comes away.
Good luck!

I have made my complete teeth correct with these rails.
However, completely over my dentist and orthos.
Depending on how much the correction is the more expensive it becomes.
No matter how you do, remember that your teeth need to be fixed afterwards.
Even with a brace? And how long do they have to be fixed? How long do you have to wear these rails?
Yeah, probably forever.
People who had a firm chip also have to wear the wire behind their teeth forever.
I always wear a night rail.
How long you have to wear this variant tells you
