My nose is broken, but my doctor isn't doing anything?

Last Tuesday, I broke my nose during sports at school. I went to the trauma surgeon afterward, and he confirmed with an x-ray that my nose was definitely broken. He then referred me to an ENT doctor. This doctor did almost nothing, justifying it by saying it was a non-displaced fracture. Furthermore, I've been in severe pain since the break and have been taking painkillers almost constantly. I'm wondering if it's normal that I haven't even been given anything to stabilize my nose. Should I perhaps get a third opinion from another doctor? (And if the ENT doctor failed and I now suffer damage, can I sue him or something similar?)

If nothing is postponed, it usually cures by itself in 6-8 weeks. You only get a nose rail when the nose has to be directed. Pain and swelling nose drops, you usually don’t need more.

You should have painkillers.

This doctor has done nothing and has reasoned it

This formidable setting is to be used as a k*otzen.

With stable spells you do nix, and moreover nose is an ungrateful body part, really a Stabi bandage only comes on when the nose has a kink or something…

but with a nasal fracture that stands good is made nix, is bullshit. And the likelihood is low that you get something back on your face because it’s just school sports. If you’re a professional athlete, it’s different.
