Pain and discomfort in your knee after gym workout?

After about two months, I started training my legs intensively again at the gym. During training, everything was fine, and I didn't have any pain in my legs.
Since the next day after training, I've occasionally felt something in my right knee. It feels like something is moving or floating there. I also have slight pain there.
I'm worried if this is just a temporary problem or if it could be something serious. What do you think? Should I see a doctor?
