How many Wattpad chapters should I write per day?

Hi to those who write stories on Wattpad, how often per day or how often per week do you upload the chapters?

I've been thinking about uploading one every other day, but I'm still unsure. I also wrote a few chapters yesterday, but haven't uploaded them to Wattpad yet.

I don't think there's the perfect upload plan. Of course, it is always best for readers to find the story as quickly as possible. At the same time, of course, quality should not suffer from frequency.

You have written in the comments that you consider uploading a chapter every second day, except for the weekend. So I guess you mean you want to upload one Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Three chapters per week can be found with shorter – chapters with 1000 words.

Nevertheless, you should look at your individual situation: I would tend to have a little more time per chapter than I really need. This has the simple reason that I automatically prescribe for "bad" times. That means if I usually write three chapters per weekend, I would probably just upload two. If I can't write for any reason, then the uploads won't drop immediately. I finally have some buffer.

Even with a somewhat unripe style of writing, I would take a little more time to work on it.

I also find this attitude most pleasant to authors as a reader. I don't even think it's so important to have a new chapter all the time. For example, my favorite history has been updated only once a month. But I could rely on the fact that a really well-written and long chapter (approximately 10,000 words) was finished on the upload day. This is a thousand times better than daily a badly written chapter, which then still fails, because the author has taken over without measure.

I don't publish myself, but most of them upload 1-2 chapters a week on fixed days. Thus, readers always have enough time to read chapters (for example, I am not in the app every day and would not want three new chapters to be online again, while I read one more).

A loose upload plan gives you time to get behind with writing if you don't have time or block. If you have the pressure to publish a chapter every day or every second day, the quality of your history will eventually suffer.

You can also align your upload plan with the length of your chapters. If your chapters are short, you can upload something more often. If a chapter has 4000 words, maybe only once a week.

If it works like this for you, it doesn't matter.

I'm not on Wattpad, but I'm uploading a chapter in two weeks. Don't bother anyone in Storyban. I also write over 2000 words.

I don't have an upload plan for my story. I usually just work on two chapters and charge them up when they're done and when I want to. Of course I also care that I don't wait too long until the next chapter comes because I don't let the readers wait

You can do that. You can upload a new chapter every few days. I'm not going anywhere. I'm just writing the book. Then I'll leave it for a while and rework it after a certain time. Then I listen to the text by reading it. That's something completely different, you have when you go through it yourself.

Then I hunt the text through a spelling program and only after that I upload the entire book.

Because often things happen to me that I didn't think of in the beginning. So I don't have to write about the half-finished book online, but I can present the finished book to the reader. He's gonna be very shaky when things change.

If you want to upload a story as different parts, then at best you don't do it under time pressure, but when a part is finished until it really fits you. If you don't, then the quality of history will surely suffer.

At best, you write a story and build it up until you really like it yourself. You can upload an extract from it every second day.

Just like I'm really happy. If I have a fixed time, I'll write to you very much. If I'm happy to write, I write and if I don't want to write on in the middle of the chapter, I'll stop and keep going when different.
