Train restrictions lifted – can I travel earlier?
Hello 🙂
I received an email saying that my train would depart earlier than originally scheduled and that the train connection had been canceled.
I still have a bit of a drive to the departure point and would be close to arriving anyway – with the earlier departure, it's really too risky for me. I could leave earlier, but then I'd have to wait forever (long story 😅). But I don't want to leave later either.
So can I just take an earlier train since the train connection has been lifted?
And on that note… Is it normal that you only get the notification via email and it doesn't update in the DB Navigator? Because my booking still shows the original time and that it's train-specific.
Yeah, you can do much more. Our train a few days ago should drive 21:15, dangers we are at 17:10 No problem.
And the DB Navigator. is MÃœL.
We had someone on both trips where the DB Navigator had hidden the ticket or that was completely gone.
If you use it, print the ticket in addition. And every phone can fail. Or to be left, as before yesterday in the city. I was supposed to wait 35 minutes. None of the two ladies came back, and they had it in their hands uninterruptedly.
Thanks for the answer 🙂 That’s great, then I can drive earlier without any concerns.
I’ve never had any problems with the app. I regularly travel by train and therefore use them quite often. I don’t even have a printer, so I don’t even have the option but I usually take a screenshot of the ticket if the app strikes. But still thanks:)
Yeah, that’s right, but you have to keep the travel days. If you have a ticket for a Wednesday, for example, you can’t go on Tuesday.
