Wider tire motorcycle?
Hi, I was just looking online to see if you can/are allowed to put wider tires on the Honda CRF 250. If I understand correctly, Honfa says you can't put anything larger than a 130 on the rear. Is that possible, since I had a larger one on my 125? If you have any experience with this or anything similar, I would appreciate any information.
You have the tire width on the motorcycle to drive which is in your approval. No matter if you had a wider tire at your 125 back or not. Different vehicles are not comparable. Why do you want to make wider tires on your moped so that handling gets worse, where is the point? Maybe in this respect, you should first acquire some expertise before you play with such thoughts. Not always is something good just because it looks cool?
But it doesn't have any broadening influence on the handling. A mate has at his sportsman from 150s to 160s and the manufacturer said that at the magnification it doesn't make any difference only if he would still enlarge the front tire.
Nonsense, of course, that makes a difference. Maybe not so extreme, but he's spy and who doesn't realize that, he has no feeling for the motorcycle. At any rate, it is good that these changes are not simply allowed to be released via the manufacturers, but must be registered.
