Handlebar makes a slight cracking noise?

Hello everyone

I have a KTM Duke 125 2020 run almost 7K and I'm worried about the handlebars. Every time I brake hard the handlebars crack and as soon as I release the brake they crack again. Has something slipped?

Thank you in advance

so directly on the steering there is nothing that can crack.

The next of the components – where a crack can occur – would be the bearing of the fork bridge – after that would only be at the bottom of the fork.

But where it cracks – you should describe it more precisely

Make the front wheel brake and press forward several times (for the fork to dip-but press forward and then it goes down automatically) .

if you are still looking at the upper fork bridge – below is the bearing shell The fork bridge can only rotate – not move back and forth – no millimeter – now keep your finger on pressing On fork bridge and frame/bearing shell – if something moves forward and back, you found the mistake.

Have you ever made a wheelie with your duke? If so, I can tell you exactly where the problem comes from…

2-3 times, so…

Go to the workshop. You'll be wondering what caused your 2-3 wheelies so at cost… 😱

But you don't mean the noises of the strong braking caused by the ABS when it triggers or the brake re-engages…? Was the sound from the beginning?
