Does the removable brace still fit?
I haven't worn my retainer for 2 (or 3, I can't remember exactly) years. Now I've put it back in, and it's pinching a little, but not enough to cause pain. Is this a good sign, or should I take it out and wait for an orthodontist appointment to address it?
It's putting a little pressure on the back of my upper molars and my jaw feels weird.
Is this normal?
Hello HunterTehSeer,
in some, the result is stable, in others retention is a lifelong task. And then there’s a lot left.
What you did is very courageous, but has gone well. Your result is pretty stable. If you can use the brace without pressure, the result is still correct. If now the one or the other tooth is no more 100% in its place, that is not a drama. If you wear the chip, for a time, again regularly, then go back to your optimal location.
But you should try the chips regularly. Because when you see changes in the mirror, you don’t catch up with the tanker arm. And it would be a pity for all the trouble with the brace if the result were not held.
Good luck!

Yes is a good sign, because then your jaw has no longer changed
