Speakers only work on one side via the aux connection?

Dear community,

I have a question for the electricians and car experts among you.

I recently tried to install a double-DIN radio in my 2008 Volvo XC90 because I wanted Bluetooth. Everything was fine, but then I saw that the original radio didn't have an ISO connection. Since I didn't feel like running the cable from the amplifier up to the radio, I put everything back in as it was.

The problem now is that as soon as I reconnect my phone via AUX, only the right speaker works. The left speaker is very quiet, almost inaudible. I also hear a loud, shrill beeping at regular intervals over AUX. However, as soon as I switch to FM, all speakers work as usual, and the beeping stops.

Does anyone know what the problem is and could help me?

Thanks

It is hard to say where exactly the problem lies without seeing and testing the radio and the speakers. One possible reason for the problem could be that the Aux connection of the radio is defective and therefore only one side of the speakers works. Another reason could be that there is a problem with the loudspeaker cables and that therefore only one page works.
