Forgotten Slinda pill, does that have any impact?

Hey, if you forget to take the pill it affects the contraception. I took the last placebo tablet yesterday and today I have to take another one from a new pack.

My question now is, if I took the last placebo tablet yesterday but can only start with the new tablet tomorrow, will my contraception be affected?

Because logically speaking, the placebo pills aren't important if you forget to take them. (This is stated on the packaging.) So it shouldn't be a big deal, right?

Unfortunately, I won't be home until tomorrow afternoon.

Does it make sense to delay a day between the old and new packs?

Thank you very much for your help!

Hello Angel77777

Because logically, the placebo tablets are not important when you forget them. (this is in the packaging) So it shouldn’t be bad, should it?

That’s right, but you didn’t forget the placebo, but the first working thing.

If the break lasts longer than 7 days then it is like forgetting in the first week of taking: The missed pill immediately decrease even if you have to take 2 pills at the same time. Then continue normal again. But the next seven days additionally prevent. In the case of GV during the 7 days prior to the taking error there is also the possibility of pregnancy.

In case of an error, it is important to read in the package immediately how to react to the error.

A very good advice from , community expert for pills

“Get this place on the edge so you can find it quickly if you need it!”

To avoid forgetting the pill, you can save the memory into your phone. You can also place the pack next to the coffee machine, next to the coffee cups or next to the toothbrush.

Our many years of experience has shown that it is safer to take the pill in the morning. You usually stand up at the same time and when you get up on the weekend, the time difference doesn’t matter because you can take the Slinda up to 24 hours without losing protection. Besides, you have time to take a forgotten pill all day. In the evening, you’re more on the go, and you’ll see the time.

You can take the Slinda up to 24 hours later without losing protection. You can also take the first pill after the break up to 24 hours later than the time of taking the last pill before the break was without losing protection.

Hi.

Yes. If you extend the break, the protection is no longer present. You are not protected until you have taken at least seven pills correctly.

(this is in the packaging)

Then read the whole package leaflet. You didn’t forget the placebo pill, but a normal one. So you’re no longer protected.
