Car leasing/3-way financing – are modifications allowed?

Hello,

Are modifications also prohibited with three-way financing (which is quite similar to leasing)? I already plan to take ownership of the car later. But with a lease, the car doesn't legally belong to me, so I'm not allowed to make any changes. Does the same apply to three-way financing?

If so, what modifications for personalization would be possible?

Stylish floor mats, sure. Would something like car stickers work? Do you have any other ideas about what modifications are allowed and what I could modify?

As you write yourself, the 3-way financing is your car and you can do what you want. Leasing is and remains the property of the leasing provider. He must agree with changes.
