Do I have to earn a certain amount per year if I own a small business?

Hello, I am considering registering a small business because I intend to generate revenue.

I want to offer video services.
Now my question is, aside from the focus on revenue, is a small business worthwhile? I'm wondering whether I HAVE to generate a certain amount of revenue to keep my small business license? Or, theoretically, could I also generate €0 in revenue per year?

Hello, I am about to register a small business considering that I intend to make a turnover.

There is no small business

I ask myself if I have a certain turnover MUST to keep the small business license?

As long as you are not only at risk of losses, neither the tax office nor the trade office will move.

Or should you also earn 0€ in the year purely theoretically?

You are likely to have a negative profit (ergo loss) over several years. Sometimes business rests for various reasons.

Upstairs, of course, your merits are open.

And remember who pays taxes has also earned money.

Always thinking about paying NO taxes is very short-sighted.

However, if you only produce costs, the tax office will eventually assume that you only operate an expensive hobby.

That's all said and done.

Firstly, there is neither a small business nor a tax law, and secondly there is no minimum turnover for traders. However, if you are constantly making losses, it can happen to you that the tax office classifies the activity as a lover with the result that losses in income tax are no longer deductible.

There is no "small business" – business is business. You can make use of the small business operator control as a single business operator and then you don't have to deduct/recover sales tax as long as you don't get over the turnover limit.

You don't have to prove sales.

You can't earn too much. No other way around.

As much as he wants, he is allowed to earn only if the free limit of €2,000 is exceeded, the small business operator scheme.

To remain a small entrepreneur, my statement was meant. But of course you're right.

Don't worry, he can earn millions. In the following year, he only loses the small entrepreneur status.
