Do I have to file a tax return as a working student?
As a student employee, if I work 20 hours a week and 40 hours a week during semester breaks, would I have to file a tax return? I would most likely exceed the tax-free allowance.
And does child support from the father also count towards the tax allowance?
The information is slightly thin
The basic obligation to issue the tax return according to §46 EStG is as follows:
If you mean in reverse, you should not be in an employee relationship or fulfill one of the above-mentioned points you are obliged to make a statement, otherwise not.
But now something fundamental:
A tax return on elster.de will not cost you a cent, a refund according to your information will be displayed directly to you. Therefore, you should always use this service (if you have paid LSt), you should get an afterpayment and you do not meet any of these points, you do not have to leave.
Thanks for the detailed answer 😀
I probably don't meet any of the points. Maximum "capital income without tax deduction is available"
What can I understand? Interested? Or the child support from the father?
And what do you mean by the 5th regulation?
Interest would not be so 4€
At the beginning of 2023 would be more sensitive for 2022, before you can't give it 😉
Oh, okay, thanks. Then fill them out at the end of 2022 and hope to get something back 😀
The employee has nothing to do with students, it is up to every tax citizen with income from non-compulsory work.
No special student amount known to me
Is the AN PB that where students can pay €1000? Or are there two types of sums that you could separate?
Employees lump sum, the 1000€ mentioned by you (from 2022 1,200€)
What is AN PB?
Quite rudimentary, yes (of course not correct)
And you only get the AN PB if the actual WK is not higher, the WK is higher.
So I've got a free allowance of 11,000€ directly?
The WBK flat rate of €1,200 is already taken into account when deducting the wage tax.
So I have about €16000 a year. (Rough estimate) if I then deposit 1000€ advertising costs on a flat-rate basis and again my 1200€ laptop, then I probably get back everything anyway, right?
If no German capital income tax is deducted, you are theoretically obliged to do so.
I don't know whether the FA is pushing at 4€ Cape in a DBA state a wave (probably not)
But: tax is usually worth it
No on a Norwegian, the Complete Bank ASA. But managed via the N26 Bank (German)
Are the interests on a German bank?
No, you don't have to do it (exceptions see Anttraxx) but since you work 20 and 40 hours each, you pay taxes and you can get something back. Would be worth it.
No maintenance.
You don't have to make a tax return.
