Have you ever flown long-haul?

Hello folks,

I'd like to know if you've ever flown long-haul. From where to where, and how long it took. I'd also be interested in how you spent your time on board. For those who know a bit about aviation:

Which type did you fly? And what pleased you so much

Thank you and may the force be with you

It's a lot. Longest flight was from Milan to Sydney. A total of 23h travel time. Both routes (Milan – Dubai & Dubai – Sydney) with the A380 in Business Class with Emirates.

Then

11x with KLM Amsterdam – Curacao (1x in Economy, 4x in Economy Comfort and 6x in Business). 10x with the B747 and last year with the B777).

1x with KLM Milan – Los Angeles in Business in the B777.

1x with Air Europe from Munich – New York in Economy.

1x with Etihad from Frankfurt – Male in First.

1x with Swiss from Zurich – Los Angeles in Economy.

1x with Airfrance from Milan – Los Angeles in First.

2x with Delta from London – Los Angeles in Premium Economy on Dreamliner.

These are the ones I can remember spontaneously.

Long distance of 5 hours: from Germany after x times to USA and various targets in Asia (including MIA, TPA, ORL, SJO, SFO, SDQ, POP, BKK, CMB, KUL).

I usually sleep in the plane. The few hours I'm awake are eating, I'm watching a movie, reading a book.

I am mainly flying with LH and Condor, aircraft patterns were A340, A380, B747, DC10

Long distance to the USA, 3x back and forth… goods around 11h. The employment on board was very one-sided. Was a mixture of movies looking at these little monitors and trying to sleep.

But must say that flying, although I fly quite every year, always fascinates me and I get caught again and again as I am on board watching, so the people, the staff, the technique, the landscape.

But one of the long-haul flights, I don't know if I've done many other things, well, listened to music, but the time was suddenly over again. Lost as in flight 😅😅

Two times from Luxembourg to Reykjavik to Dulles USA, but it's been forever. Then regularly Düsseldorf – Hurghada (just like this long distance with just over 5000 km). Long-lasting flight went to Mauritius shortly before the pandemic with the machines Boeing 777 and A380 from Düsseldorf via Dubai. Emirates' wood class, but still was very nice. Emirates has a very good boarding program and there were some night flights, so you can get a bit on your ear.

Amsterdam – Washington, about 8 hours, Boeing 767

Eat, listen to music, sleep, watch movies

Washington – Frankfurt, about 7 hours, Boeing 747

Just the same program.

My longest flight was Munich via London to Toronto. In London, however, there was no further fog. So I got a night at the Airport Hotel. Next morning we went on. Flyer was a DC 10 from Air Canada. I don't know how long the flight lasted. Since I flew first class, the care was very good with everything and I slept a lot.

Frankfurt – Chicago over New York. 8 hours to New York. The time of flight has taken me completely. That's really nothing for me. Egypt is still going.

We haven't been flying for five years. We conquer Europe with the camper.
