How long does it take to lose weight?

Hello, I have a question. I'm 14 years old, weigh 73 kg, and I'm a boy. I wanted to ask you how long it will take me to lose weight (my goal is 55 kg). I've been in a soccer club for three months, which means I do some sport. But what do you think, if I pay attention to my diet and exercise three times a week, how long will it take me to reach 55 kg? Thanks in advance for your answers. 👍 Regards

The question is how tall are you and do you even have to lose weight? Because only on the basis of age and weight you cannot judge it at all. Apart from the fact that no one could tell you something exactly, I know 55 kilos very little. Even if you're not just 1.60 m short.

It may sound like that, but it is not because a BMI of 18.0 for 14-year-old boys is in a completely normal range

(see table, all about P10)

We both know that only women weigh as much. He won't do a favor.

Then take 8kg off that shouldn't be enough. You will see it yourself

Bro stop taking off without being fat as a child is absolutely stupid. You stop your growth and your hormones do not develop properly

The normal range is 19 and would therefore be underweight

only women weigh so little. With your size, you'd be almost magical with only 55kg

Hey,

you have a BMI of 23.80 and are therefore slightly overweight.

The website with which I calculated this is the following:

The BMI of 23.80 is in the range of overweight.

This calculation indicates that your child's body weight is quite high. This can have different causes and must not be a reason to worry. We recommend you to look for advice with your child at a doctor or a doctor. If your child is old enough, he or she can also go to the doctor alone or to the doctor.

Young people get away from their parents. The opinion of friends and peers is important. But young people also need to keep the family back. With nutrition, exercise and other living habits in the family, you can do a lot to prevent your child from increasing. Find tips here . By the way, a lot of sport can also lead to a high BMI, as it builds muscle mass. The BMI does not distinguish whether your child has a lot of fat or a lot of muscle mass.

Here's a statistics. Where the point is, you are currently:

You're in puberty, so I wouldn't worry about it. Besides, you're just a little overweight. 72 kilos would be normal again. Can you imagine what 55 kilos mean? Pretty underweight! You're good as you are. You can take off, but no 10-20 kilos and especially not so fast. You can take away sports and proper nutrition. And burn more calories than you take – so you take off. But as I said, watch out for you and go slowly and healthy!!!

Hello Alexa!

Your ideal weight is about 60 kg. So you have a great figure and you don't want to become a rag?

You do sports, take off. It shouldn't go too fast otherwise threatens sleepy skin.

If you reach your goal in 5 – 6 months, this is great

I wish you good luck and success

Expect 6-9 months
