Build a Roco body on a Märklin locomotive?

I have the ER20 police-style Märklin model at home and would now like to use a "realistic" body. I haven't found anything from Märklin, but I have one from Roco (body for the ER20). Will this body fit the Märklin model?

I had just entered the well-known search engine with the "G" >Maerklin ER 20 Locomotive < Among them is also the well-known auction platform with various offers to the locomotive type, ie ER 20 from Märklin. However, these are by far not only the described police arrangement but also other operators. There should be something to be found in the spare part area of Märklin. Model 36794 is also an ER 20. Their housing with parts (4 positions) will only be combed out because the locomotive has appeared as a novelty. The online shop is currently being reworked by Märklin.
In conclusion, after a few weeks to months, the ER 20 will surely come up with a case that does not look like police.
Hello Carsten, the 36794 was released in 2010 anyway, it is on the Märklin website. I think the parts are no longer made or what do you think?
The construction still exists. Only the case in the presentation was probably changed. Therefore, it should be possible to provide the locomotive with a housing in another color dress. However not currently available.
For this, one would have to know the exact dimensions of both models – but despite the same scale they can differ.
