Repair a bicycle trailer?

I bought a used bike trailer and the part that attaches the side panel broke off (it was welded).
I have a colleague who can weld it together for me, but I'd prefer a new part. 😀 Where can I get it? Google searches and image searches were unsuccessful, unfortunately…

I extremely doubt that the manufacturer sells individual welded parts in the "crush state".
Even the pipe construction will not be sold individually.
It's just too expensive to send an employee to production so that he can get a part out and pack it in a package.
Furthermore, the material and also the welding seam look like aluminum. (Many successes in welding.)
You could at most replicate this fasting part.
Find someone who can weld aluminum and make a piece of sheet metal and make the part new
Broken part give to a locksmith (who still has a craftsmanship) who will make it fit.
