Postman job question?

I saw a job offer from the German Post Office as a mail carrier that also offers quite attractive pay.

It wasn't a strange subcontractor on their website either.

The ad says a driver's license is required. Does that mean you'll be delivering mail every day in a small postal van? I wouldn't want to spend eight hours a day on a bicycle.

Maybe you only need a driver's license because you drive a car 1-2 days a week and ride a bike the rest of the time.

Anyone know anything about this? I have absolutely no desire to deliver by bike.

You also have to add packages up to a certain weight to the letters every day (it is specifically in the job advertisement). This is not possible by bicycle. As a result, you only drive by car every day. Alternatively, you can search for “Package provider” instead of Potbote!

Depends on where you deliver.

Depending on where you are used and whether you only drive letters or packages.
