Diagnosed with schizophrenia, but don't feel mentally ill?

I've had schizophrenia for nine years, and the hardest part was the first three years without medication. I felt like I was in the wrong movie… I was constantly aggressive, exhibited extreme misbehavior, beat up my friends and family, etc. It was like that, and it was really wild. I was homeless in Spain for three weeks and even got into a fight with the police there.

Now that I'm on medication, I don't even notice that I'm mentally ill…

This is the goal of a medication, which unfortunately hasn’t reached all. Be glad.

Congratulations! You’re lucky that you’ve been well adjusted and seemingly have no side effects. That’s a good luck, especially in this diagnosis. Enjoy it and live your symptom-free life. Please do not come up with the idea of simply reducing or not taking the medication anymore. You’re so good because you take her. Don’t risk anything.
