Emergency braking in the car is no longer possible?
Hello, I recently had the entire brake set (brake caliper, brake discs and brake pads) replaced. On top of that, my ABS kept lighting up. Then a colleague used a diagnostic tool to see that the wheel speed sensor on the rear right was broken, so that cleared up the ABS problem.
The problem now is that my car somehow can't handle hard braking. For example, I recently had to brake hard because I realized too late that I needed to turn, so I pressed the brakes as hard as I could, but I still only decelerated very slowly. Hard braking at 80 km/h takes a bit longer than before.
Why is that?
who changed the brakes…maybe badly or not properly vented. Or cheap material was installed. Give a lot of opportunities to deal with the problem. Let's see a workshop about it, they'll find the solution to the problem.
