Hat jemand Erfahrungen mit Zahnextration wegen ein Überbiss?
Ich möchte kurz meine Situation schildern : ich habe mit 22 relativ großen überbiss 8-9mm und habe mir Meinungen von verschiedenen Kieferorthopäden geholt. 1. wollte direkt eine Kieferop 2. möchte eine Zahnextration machen. 3. sagt er würde nichts machen da es keine gesundheitlichen Folgen geben wird. Deswegen bleibt nur der ästhetische Teil. Da ich Angst vor einer Operation haben wegen den möglichen Schlimmen Risiken (taubheit, nervenschädigung) und Angst es zu bereuen. wollte ich fragen ob jemand Erfahrungen hat 2 gesunde Zähne zu ziehen und damit den Überbiss nach hinten zu schieben? Ich habe meiner Ärztin damals nicht gefragt ob es an meinem Gesichtsprofil was ändern wird aber habe von anderen gehört dass mein Seitenprofil sehr hässlich werden kann , stimmt das ? Leider weiß ich dass sie nur Geld machen wollen und mir wurde auch gesagt es gibt keine Garantie dass es klappen wird. Aber lieber lebe ich mit 2 Zähnen weniger als irgendwo eine Lähmheit . such a pronounced excess bite can only be removed surgically at your age. A pure orthodontic treatment will improve the situation, but compromises must be made.
Every operation has risks and if you read the supplemental note from a drug, you wonder that someone has survived that.
Such an operation is done only if the result to be expected is in a reasonable ratio to effort. This then definitely looks different, but more harmonious.
I have the feeling that you’re still indecisive and haven’t found a doctor yet where you feel good. I’m afraid you should have another opinion.

If it is not medically necessary, I would dispense with an surgery. But you have to decide for yourself how much this really bothers you.
Without pictures, an evaluation of the distance is not possible.
Question: That your kk will not bear the costs is known to you?
