What can you do to avoid getting a hunchback?

As far as I know, my dad has scoliosis and a hunchback, which was mostly caused by hard work, poor posture, never really doing any sport, not having much muscle and having to carry a lot of heavy things.

and when I went with him to his physiotherapist, the one whose back cracks, he gave me the following tips:

According to him, something like that is hereditary, but since I'm still young at under 20, I should just exercise regularly, eat well, gain weight, always pay attention to my posture and then everything will be fine.

What else can I do? If I exercise regularly and pay attention to my posture, will I have no problems?

Your father should change the physio. Back “cracking” does not help against scoliosis

What can I do? If I regularly do sports on my attitude I will not have any problems?

Visit back school, for example at sports clubs. Or do rehab sports. And not only once a week, but daily at home

It doesn't guarantee that you stay free of complaints. But it can prevent it from getting bad.
