Can I still get my driver's license?

I am 17 years old and was reported 2-3 months ago for dangerous bodily harm and I received a summons but I got a lawyer and the charges are still going on. I have registered for a driver's license and have an appointment with the road traffic authority soon. Will there be any problems if they say no because the case is still open?

The open procedure is not due to a crime related to road traffic. Accordingly, it does not affect the driver's license.

In theory, something could happen in the case of a condemnation, because juvenile courts have very great scope in the educational requirements that they may make the condemned. Theoretically, the court could forbid you to make the license. However, it is also unlikely again, because educationally sensitive are of course those conditions which are somehow related to the erected injustice and again, it is not a matter of doing anything about road transport.

The act has nothing to do with road transport, but it is nevertheless a violent act.

§11 FeV:

(3) The submission of an expert opinion from an officially recognized assessment body for driving suitability (medical-psychological expert opinion) may be arranged for clarification of qualifying doubts for the purposes referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2,

6. in the event of a significant criminal offense related to the seizure of force, in particular where evidence of a high aggression potential exists or the significant criminal offense was committed using a vehicle

It would be a little surprising if the authority waits for the outcome of the trial before further processing the application.

Prejudice may also make a driving license as long as the penalty was not a traffic offense, and therefore a driving ban or a driving ban was issued.

Do not worry. If, as a result of the act, indications are provided for a high aggression potential, which can be the case, for example, in the case of dangerous body injury, that is supplied to an MPU.
