Bank employees can view accounts?
Hello dear all,
Can you answer this question for me: How much insight into bank accounts do bank employees have?
Does a bank employee only have access to a giro account for the bank branch for which he works, or can a bank employee also view an account from other locations (as long as it is the same bank)?
Thanks for your answers 🙂
If they have permission to access customer data, they can also see other branches within their bank. Because a customer does not always go only to one, but also to other branches of this bank, and then, of course, the employees have to see everything.
Usually only employee accounts or other important customers are blocked, e.g. celebrities, and only a certain group of employees is entitled to see them.
In principle, all accounts are visible at the bank.
With us only the accounts of other employees and celebrities were visible only to the relevant consultant.
In the case of Sparkassen and Raiffeisenbanken, not all accounts in Germany are visible, but only those at the respective Sparkasse/ VR-Bank, which are also usually several branches.
Staff can look at all accounts of the institute. Only employee accounts are excluded.
By and all authorized employees can access all accounts.
