Tip against a cold?

I've had a really bad cold for a week now and I don't know what to do anymore. Cold baths, nasal drops, nasal rinses, ibuprofen, tea, and horse ointment. This stuffy nose is really bothering me at night. How long does a cold actually last? Do you have any good home remedies that actually help, especially for getting rid of drafts in my nose.

I have the impression that there are not many people who have wrapped around the neck in a cold half a finely chopped onion (eg in a kitchen towel, in a scarf) – otherwise in the good prospects of success for a quick recovery of this home remedy would be far more known and more popular.

So for at night I can recommend a small chopped onion on a plate next to your bed. Admittedly, it smells something like a kebab snack, but the essential oils let the nose swell super at night and reduce secretion. That works very well!

Eat fruit, drink tea and wait until the cold is over.

Just have patience and give the body time to dismantle the infection.

Of course it's stupid. Doesn't change the fact that you have to leave the body.

Have a drink.
