Take out a loan or save?
Hi, here's the situation: I've spontaneously decided to get a Class A motorcycle license. However, I'm going on vacation soon and obviously don't want to blow all my savings. Do you think I should wait another 1-3 months to save up the money for a license and clothes, or should I take out a loan?
PS: I have a permanent position
in no case take a loan. Credit is not usually taken to you for long-term things – or things that are absolutely necessary.
So definitely don't accept a loan – especially if you can afford it in 1 month even without a loan. For 1-3 months you will not get a loan anywhere
If you already have a motorcycle, credit, so you can still drive to the warm season. Do not have one, save, driver's license and save on the bike for next spring in winter.
Definitely save. For consumer spending and hobbies you should never borrow
Never take a loan for consumption, I don't say anything about it.
Save…
