I've been for 30 years, it's never been planned, but in retrospect, it was very fulfilling for me and the best that I've enjoyed in life, the time with my children.
Of course, to do everything alone was not always easy to bring households, children and full-time work under one hat either. But I did. Of course, it would have been nice to get a living and to have to work less or a weekend without children, but my parents have always supported me and the time with my children has done all this well again.
