What am I doing wrong when washing?

This was my little boy's new pants after the first wash. They were completely covered in fluff…

Do you know why this happens? Other clothes from the wash cycle remained completely normal…

This is usually due to the quality of the goods.

So it is always helpful to wash all clothes on the left.
