15 year old daughter sick 1-2 times a month?
My daughter had severe tonsillitis in October 2024 and had to be treated with antibiotics.
Three months later, she had tonsillitis again and had to be treated with antibiotics again. Since then, she's been sick at least once a month, even though we eat healthy: vegetables, fruit, yogurt, cheese, hardly any meat, and highly processed foods.
Before her two bouts of tonsillitis, she was hardly ever sick.
What could be the cause? Hormonal fluctuations during puberty, perhaps, or the administration of antibiotics?
I've now given her a Kijimea treatment (1 month), but she's still sick 1-2 times a month. The pediatrician just says there are worse things, so that's not exactly helpful.
What can I do?
As a child, I often had almonditis and nothing helped.
Only when I read the almonds out, it was over. They were scarred by the many inflammations and could no longer fulfill their task. On the contrary, they have always caused new inflammation.
Maybe go to the ENT doctor?
Absolutely!
I already made an appointment
Antibiotics in the long run also harm. Especially the intestines.
I have often had almond infections. At the end of 28 even once a month when I had my days.
I finally got the almonds out. Should've happened a lot earlier. They're broken by so many infections.
After that, I still had 2 x bad infections with antibiotics (side-strand angina), after which was final. Today I get throat pain, but with light and good tolerable pain and feeling of illness and in 2 days at the latest this is gone again.
For over 30 years.
Go to an ENT doctor (I always went straight to the ENT), best one who also performs OP's.
When it's in the almonds once dri session and when the almonds are broken (hearing to the defense system), it always happens.
Today, .an that doesn't get out so fast, but actually the problem is solved first when they're gone.
Then she was not treated until the end.
And there are worse things.
But also the possibility to take the almonds out.
No one gets sick from antibiotic treatment. Why don't you take the almonds out?
The almonds have a defensive function, the doctor said if you have almond inflammation more than 4 times a year, then you should take them out…
I'd change the doctor, that's not a competent statement.
You're right
