gastritis?

Hello everyone,

I hope you can help me because I have the feeling that my HA doesn't take me seriously.

Two months ago, I was constantly struggling with nausea, but I was still able to keep it under control and eat and drink normally. In mid-October, I suddenly had four bouts of vomiting, with nausea (not vomiting) and mild stomach cramps. I had a gastroscopy last week, and according to my biopsy, I had:

Mild chronic duodenitis (bulbus and descending part). No evidence of sprue, Whipple's disease, or giardiasis.

2a.-2c. Discrete chronic gastritis of the antral, angular, and corpus mucosa. Hyperplasia in the corpus, Helicobacter negative.

When I spoke to my GP on the phone, she told me I only had a mild inflammation of the stomach lining. She had prescribed me esomeprazole last week and I should take it for another 7 days and then it should apparently finally go away.

My question: Do you really think I'll finally be free of symptoms after 7 days? I can't swallow the tablets because I still have that gag reflex, but according to the packaging, I can open the capsule and swallow the pills with water. I hope that will have the same effect.

The diagnosis from my biopsy does not sound like a "mild gastritis" in my opinion.

Unfortunately, I'm still battling nausea and a lump in my throat, or rather, a feeling of globus, and I'm constantly burping.

I just can't take it anymore; my mental state is truly at its limit. I haven't eaten anything proper in four weeks because I also suffer from emetophobia. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I'll throw up at some point if I eat normal food again.

I hope someone can give me some good advice.. Thanks 🙁

Drink butter milk a week.

Maybe you have a diaphragm fracture or a weakened stomach inlet muscle.

(Stilles) Sodburning always treat with acid blockers.

Maybe ask for Breischluck again, then you could see if you have muscle cramps in the esophagus.
