Attacks would occur because you and others provided the financial means. Furthermore, it's punishable under Section 129a, Paragraph 5 of the German Criminal Code. The sentence can vary, but you can definitely expect a prison sentence. However, it's difficult to prove.

Then you are committing a criminal offense!

Supporting a terrorist organization

Section 129a, paragraph 5 of the Criminal Code reads: "Anyone who supports an association referred to in paragraphs 1, 2, or 3 shall be punished in the cases of paragraphs 1 and 2 with imprisonment from six months to ten years, and in the cases of paragraph 3 with imprisonment up to five years or a fine. AK 6/07 and StB 3/07

What happens if, for example, you transfer money to a terrorist organization so that it can carry out its attacks?

Then Section 89c of the Criminal Code comes into effect, with a prison sentence of up to 10 years in the worst case.
