The IREs in Baden-Württemberg, known to me, travel with regular vehicle use, which is also used for other trains (BR 612, Stadler Flirt). The IRE Berlin – Hamburg, actually operated with old cars from the Bundesbahn-Zeit, is no longer available.

What route is it?

I don’t know a route in Germany on which Interregio trains still drive

On some routes, however, the Interregio Express (IRE) has been introduced as a substitute for the Interregio Express (interregio express), which is part of local transport, so it can be used with the 9-Euro ticket.

There is no longer an interregio for 20 years, in Baden-Württemberg there is the train category IRE, which counts as local traffic and the ticket is valid.

No interregio is long-distance traffic. (Does it still exist?)

Interregio Express (irx) is traffic and can be used.

Unfortunately, the “old” Interregio was cancelled, I was very happy to ride with these trains.
