7800 XT vor Vorstellung der nächsten Karten verkaufen?
Moin! Ich stehe gerade vor einer schwierigen Entscheidung, bzw. weiß garnicht was ich überhaupt tun soll. Ich habe eine 7800 XT in meinem PC und einen 7800X3D. Ich dachte die 7800 XT würde ausreichen, was sie theoretisch auch tut, in FHD im Moment.
Da ich aber angefangen habe spiele wie Assetto Corsa, F1 24 usw. zu spielen bei denen die Grafik eine große Rolle spielt wollte ich auf 4K wechseln, aber ich habe keine List auf 60 FPS (zwar auf höchsten settings) in 4K.
Deswegen ist die Antwort wohl klar, eine neue GPU muss her. Naja, jetzt kommen die neuen schon Anfang 2025 raus und ich möchte die 7800 XT verkaufen um mir eine neue Karte der 8000er Reihe zu holen.
Das Problem ist aber das ich die Karte schnell los werden muss, der Preis wird ja sicherlich sinken sobald die neuen raus sind. Dazu hab ich den PC erst seit Anfang des Jahres also ist die GPU nichtmal wirklich stark oder besonders lange benutzt worden.
Soll ich die Karte jetzt einfach so schnell wie möglich verkaufen und auf den Release der neuen warten? Oder erst den Release angegucken und dann verkaufen?
Wie gesagt will ich aber auch so wenig minus wie möglich beim Verkauf machen…

Most of the minus was created when you bought and used the card, because it needed the card.
I expect the following for sale of used parts (private):
Basic price used = 50% of the price of comparable new products
In case of a residual guarantee or warranty (applies to purchases)
+20% if min 12 months (residual power) or 10% if min 3 months of residual power. For the manufacturer’s residual warranty or less than 3 months 5-7%
With very good condition (card is undamaged, clean and dust-free) +7-10%
For complete accessories (sales packaging, papers, instructions and adapters) +5-7%
At most, about 85% of the new price of comparable new products can be obtained, but only from the cheapest model of a comparable series, hits for brand or especially OC models can hardly be taken into account and are not reflected in a higher sales price.
And then it comes to the area where you sell in the country you will get things worse than in cities.
And make you aware only because a new model comes out, not the prices fall into the groundless. RX 6800XT cards are still being sold and new models are often badly available at the beginning.
I expect TEAM AMD to have a very small performance jump in the middle class and HIGH END. I tend to expect optimizations in Raytracing but less in normal grid power. That’s why I’d wait.
