64GB RAM?
Hello everyone,
I'm planning on upgrading my RAM from 32GB to 64GB. My question is, should I get two 32GB RAM sticks each, or should I get the same sticks again in addition to my current two 16GB RAM sticks and then use four RAM sticks?
thanks in advance
Okay, the board can even have 256 GB of RAM, old silence! https://de.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B650-S-WIFI/Specification
The results are not particularly different, see https://www.only4gamers.de/2-or-4-ram-lock/
Since memory is currently very cheap, get the 2 x 32 GB and have fun with it!
Just when you work a lot with large photoshop files or Cinema 4D, you need 64 GB of RAM, and sometimes even more.
Thanks to you, I’ve ordered a good 2x32gb. At least at the new flight simulator… I could clear the graphics and screw it down, but I don’t see that with my Pc
Hello,
I advise you to 2x 32 GB. This allows you to benefit from the Dual Channel. And the load on the RAM controller is not so large with two RAM bars. There are also cracky latences in there.
LG
A kit, in slots 2 and 4 and A2 +B2
Everything else, especially 4 bars are simply garbage on AM5.
Offizelle AMD Spec are 5600mhz RAM, in practice there is n tol more.
But at 4 bars it is at 3600mhz, even there goes a little more, but is far less than with a 2 kit.
So pays only if you want maximum RAM, and the performance may suffer from it
Counter question: what do you do on the system that 32 GB is not enough? With 32GB, an i7 and the matching graphics card you can run totally relaxed 3D CAD.
The new flightsim eats my 32gb ram on unfortunately…
Do you need so much? Because unused ram means 0.0% extra power.
Well, I personally tend to have two bars. When fully equipped, the high cycle can frequently not be maintained, which is reflected in stability problems.

If I go to MSFS 24 this is actually the only “game” that makes the 32gb permament full of…
2x 32, faster and more stable
2*32 more stable system with faster ram support
