50cc moped filled up incorrectly?
Hello, good day. I bought my Zündapp C19 49cc two weeks ago and always fill it with E10 (ran it without any problems). Normally, it goes around 45-50 km/h, but for the past week, it's stopped going faster than 25-30 km/h, and it's been extremely loud. It accelerates very slowly. Today, I went to fill up again, and then I saw the inscription next to the fuel cap that says only fill with E5! So, of course, I filled it with E5, but it still doesn't go faster than 30 km/h. Do you think it's damaged anything? Please give me some advice.
I hardly believe that 2 weeks E10 damage the scooter. Probably something is loose. Wrong air etc. Air filter maybe? (This would make it a little louder). If you don’t know anyone who knows it, go to the workshop and ask what it can be. I would have the information on this. Let E10 go first, because it only attracts an inexperienced mechanic to the wrong ferry.
Then probably the E10 has attacked something non-metallic chemically, e.g. the cylinder head seal or anything along the fuel supply.
Do you know what I’d have to pay for the repair?
