Coins are mass goods, as it is mass not about quality and that all look 100% equal is simply not feasible away, so always a certain rabies value is calculated with which coins continue to be circulated as long as they are not exceeded.
This does not make a coin much more valuable than its nominal value.
Proper misprints that are evaluated as such are only very rare in circulation and require quite inattentiveness from manufacturers.
