Vomited 5 hours after taking the pill?

Hello,

I take Swingo 30, and even though I read in the package insert that it stops working after vomiting/diarrhea 3-4 hours after taking it, I'm still concerned. I vomited 5 hours later because of the alcohol. I take my pill every day at 6:30 p.m. and vomited around 11:45 p.m. Should I be worried that the pill wasn't absorbed properly?

Thanks for the answers.

Hello

I wouldn’t worry about it.

As stated, the intake was already more than 3-4 hours back, so the active ingredient will already be absorbed and the vomiting has no effect on the protection of the pill.

I hope I could help you 🙃

Good luck 🍀

I’d recommend talking to your female doctor about it. Especially in connection with large alcohol consumption, it can be that the pill does not work properly, even without vomiting.

Alcohol does not influence the action of the pill, since the pill is not metabolized by the same enzymes as alcohol (ethanol). This means that one can take the pill and alcohol at the same time without having to be afraid that the pill loses its effect or that the effect of the alcohol is thereby increased.

Hello

4 hours after taking the pill, the active ingredients have certainly already passed into the organism and are still protected. If you break within 4 hours, or really liquid diarrhea (like water) it is necessary to take a pill in order not to lose protection (taking into account the recommended take-up time of the pill).

What’s in the package

Package supplement: 3-4 hours after taking.

Five hours.

The rest is mathematics. It says: 5 hours > 3-4 hours. So the means works.

The people who write the package leaflet give the correct information. These brochures explain the details. They don’t mislead you with any tricks.

But if you’re really worried, it’s a bad idea to ask foreign lay people from the internet. It was about a pregnancy. There you ask the professional, so doctor or pharmacist (younger sexes).

PS. It’s good that you’re careful and attentive. In the question you have also carefully mentioned all the necessary details. It would be nice if all the questions were so precise.

think that should not be a problem .. the note is written because of it being left to go out of it that you already spend much faster after taking.

I say so loosely: if you haven’t seen the pills after vomiting, it was completely dissolved and has been taken up by the skin.

please do not worry

All guaranteed recommendations in the package leaflet always show the most secure way and, of course, refer to a procedure to ensure the protection of conception. Otherwise, there would be an indication of an additionally necessary prevention and/or other recommendations for action.

These are not “pronouncements” but study-based information subject to strict drug testing.

Only vomiting or also aqueous diarrhea within a maximum of four hours after taking may result in the pill being excreted before it has passed the stomach, sufficient active substance being absorbed by the intestinal walls and it can develop its action.

After that, the pill has long been metabolized and its hormones are completely absorbed by the body.

Happy for you!
