Arrive 40 minutes late at the AGA?

Hello, I have my first day tomorrow

I have the option of leaving at 00:53 and taking 6 different trains and buses (+ two hours transfer time) to arrive at the barracks at 07:40 or I leave at 05:00 and arrive at 08:40

The barracks' note says I should be there by 8 a.m., and the KarrC note says I should be there by 3 p.m.

Is it bad to be 40 minutes late on the first day? (If it just makes a bad impression, I really wouldn't care; I can prove myself in the coming weeks.)

Hi.

I have read your answers and will therefore reply accordingly.

Yes, not to appear on time on the first day is bad and an absolute no-go. You’re a soldier from tomorrow.

You will have to understand that in future your private problems (also on and off) are your personal problems and not those of the Bundeswehr (apart from worse fates).

You’ve got weeks in advance for your first day to plan and regulate your arrival and your private things by then.

You could also have arrived a day before you could book a hotel or let your service owner know in time. Apparently, you didn’t report you in addition.

I would definitely do this as soon as possible and explain your situation.

The web is currently semi-good (decently underpowered) should be able to play in bad cards with luck.

Have fun at AGA 🙂

Yeah, I hope for you too. Since I meanwhile already have 30 (will not look old), and I am also from the variety “I push this up until tomorrow” I can only advise you: if anything new arrives, everything plan roughly directly. Then check again a week before if something changed and then a few days before such an important appointment daily.

It’s gonna be okay, and believe me, the BW has all sorts of “lusty” people. You’re not the first person that’s happened, and there will be people after that. Then, only from tomorrow, try and show that one is a capable and motivated cameraman 🙂

There are exactly two possibilities for this (which is more likely for the following courses, etc.)

keep on what the Career Center says. Sign up until 3:00. It’s your first day, and there’s nix except “Name?” “Stube drölf”

there will be people arriving at 500-1000km, which will only appear at 9 pm.

call tomorrow morning at 7 to say here Protector dosenkohl to me it is not possible by bus and train to be on site at 7 a.m., the KarrC said by 3 p.m. There’s no one going to tear the back or quit you (what they can)

as stupid statements like book you before a hotel or something is total bullshit. If it were in the sense of the bw that you were arriving at point 7 with more than 100km, they would have ordered you to come out on Sundays.

what brings me to the recommendation for the next time. Call the unit and ask for a room. Then you can relax on Sundays and pick up keys for ne Bude at the guard and finish

Yes, it’s not too late on the first day.

Why do you do that with so many different connections to drive where everyone walked around an uncertainty brings more to be delayed?

Better to plan a buffer time.

Especially in basic training at the Bundeswehr you should not be too late. Even if all is a little looser than a few years ago. you’re bothering the process and missing something.

While I write these lines, the question even seems to me insane if it was bad…

Even if the first day are loosely dealing with the new people, even because you don’t know some things, they can expect to come on time. If you have the task to be up to time x there, they will have thought about something. I’m sure that’s what you’re looking forward to when you’re going to have such a setting that’s too late.

The time doesn’t matter, and if they pretend it starts at midnight, then it’s so… of course it’s funny that you have two hours, but you could have taken care of it a few days before.

moment, I hadn’t even finished my answer… but yes, it is necessary to plan that it can be delayed during longer journeys or with many changes.

1 hour too early than 5 min too late

that’s your problem… you and everyone else have got a premise to hold on to.

It seems to me to be a moderately good idea to make negative on the first day.
