4 partitions on 250GB hard drive?

Hey, I seem to have several problems with my desktop and am slowly working my way through them as a novice.

I've just noticed that it has a small, permanently installed hard drive with the system installed on it, which has three very small partitions. Is this a problem? If so, what do I do?

I think you have a Windows on your PC.

Then your computer is not too old.

In new systems (not from 20 years ago), the BIOS is looking for booting (to load the operating system) in an efi partition to boot the code. This is the one that has about 100MB. If you delete it, you need to reinstall Windows (the efi is also needed for Linux)

Windows still use a recovery partition. This is the smaller of the rest. I don’t know if you really need it, it’s like a backup. On the biggest partition are the operating system and your files.

It’s all normal.

Hello dear,

No, this is not problematic and even usual. With my example:

Accordingly, it is only a system partition and recovery partition.

A partition is nothing but an allocation of a memory than a part. It’s not like your own drive. For example, you can limit and sort memory.

You don’t do it without letters.
